The theme of this year‘s Thanksgiving parade highlights “The Price Of Freedom”.  We wish to express our appreciation to all who have served our great nation welcoming you and those with limited mobility and challenges to participate in this historic event. 

The purpose of this communication is to ask your assistance in gathering hundreds of American Veterans to be in the parade this November 18.  While all Veterans from every service are invited, we would like to know which conflicts they may have served through.  The assembled Vets will be part of this special theme event with unique recognition to their service.  Those who are able, will march while there will be a vehicle for those with a handicap or limited mobility.  

Our parade focuses on the legacy of the founding Pilgrims to the building of our nation as well as highlighting significant events of the country’s history.  We do this by presenting the parade as an historical timeline with scratch-built floats related to our historical themes, military bands, drum and bugle corps and historical re-enactors.

We are partnered with Boston’s ABC Network affiliate WCVB CHANNEL 5.  WCVB uses their on-air talent to broadcast the parade live on the day of presentation and with rebroadcast on Thanksgiving Day morning.  I suggest you visit our website USAThanksgiving.com for images of our parade and details of our mission.

Each year AHTC presents an impact or feature theme for that year’s parade. In 2023 that impact theme will be US veterans and their sacrifice to build the nation.  It is named  “The Price Of Freedom”. 

The purpose of my call /letter is to ask your assistance in gathering hundreds of American Veterans to be in the parade this November 18.  We are looking for Vets from every service and conflict that America has fought.  The assembled Vets will be part of this special theme event with unique recognition to their service.

We would especially appreciate those vets from WWII and Korea but Veterans from the War on Terror are especially welcome.
